The Church Needs Missional Professionals
Imagine if we raised up deeply faithful Christians who were also excellent in their field of work. We already know such people! What if we could see, affirm, and invest in their missional work? What if, as God allows, we had the opportunity to help move their work in an increasingly missional direction?
The Perceived Need
A need that seems to emerge from considering these problems, is that many churches may have people within them that have missional ideas, but don’t see how their ideas fit within the framework of the church’s support structure. Organizations do exist that will draw these people away from their churches, but this is not good for the local church or the person that needs a vital link to the local church.
Not The First
Infuse is not the first Christian small business initiative out there, in fact a number of known versions of this concept do already exist and have been examined by inFuse’s founders.
Expected Challenges
Those developing Infuse are well aware that such an endeavor will not be without it’s challenges. Several steps must be taken to continually consider the potential pitfalls. As mentioned previously, the Infuse team will meet monthly with their young adult advisory team to seek wisdom concerning current trends and concerns.
